The Build Process

From your first consultation to the moment we hand you the keys, our process is designed to be transparent, organized, and enjoyable.

Step 1 — Lot Feasibility. Whether you already own a lot in Ocean View or need help finding the right one, we’ll start by evaluating the property’s possibilities and any limitations. Our land acquisition team can help you identify eligible lots in your desired area.

Step 5 — Construction. During the build, your dedicated Project Manager will schedule framing and drywall walkthroughs to keep you informed and involved throughout the process.

Step 6 — Closing. Before we hand the home to you, we’ll do a final walkthrough and discuss the warranty plans included with every Character house.

The typical timeline from initial design consultation to completion runs between 12 and 24 months, depending on the scope and complexity of your project.
