I’ve worked with a number of builders around the area and Character Companies genuinely is an absolute favorite! They are super knowledgeable, resourceful and produce a quality product. To top it off, their communication is unmatched. If you’re considering purchasing one of their new builds OR selling your current home to them, I give you full confidence that you are making a great decision. Their whole team is great.Posted on Google
Alexander NorciniI can’t recommend Character Companies enough! They did an outstanding job on our project and delivering exceptional quality. The fired the previous builder we worked with for this project because they could not navigate the incredibly complex permitting process. Jacob and his team were able to push through the permits quickly. They were communicative, reliable, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone needing a skilled and dedicated builder!Posted on Google
Michelle DohertyThis was literally our dream since buying our new home in late 2021, we interviewed countless contractors & companies and no one quite clearly understood our vision or was willing to help us navigate the insanely tough permitting process like Character Companies. They transformed our outdoor space into a stunning screened-in porch, and we could not be more thrilled with the results! The entire team at Character Companies demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and a deep understanding of our vision. They guided us through every step of the process — from the initial design consultations to the final walkthrough — with clear communication and thoughtful attention to detail. Truly making this experience such a breeze! We can truly tell they took such pride in their work and ensured every detail met our expectations. We've received countless compliments on the porch since it was completed— it’s become our favorite place to relax, host friends, and enjoy quiet mornings with coffee. The cozy ambiance, especially with the fireplace going, is hard to beat. We literally spend so much time out there! If you're considering a home project and want to work with a team that is both talented and trustworthy, we wholeheartedly recommend Character Companies. Their work speaks for itself, I meannnnn just look at the photos!Posted on Google

Mark YatesWorking with character companies on my home in Arlington was such a rewarding experience for a homeowner. The process was handled from start to finish with professionalism and eagerness to make sure that as the homeowner my wife and I were being heard with our requests and questions. We’re already deciding on what project we want Jacob to do next at our second home!Posted on Google
Misha GillCharacter Companies did a whole house renovation for me. I was kept informed of progress every step of the way - they use Jobtread and it's excellent tech, easy to drop in and see the latest at any moment. Change orders - they do them! And they were done promptly. This is excellent discipline. Finally, the project was completed in the timeframe they promised. Minor issues were addressed without slowing down the project. I recommend them whole heartedly to anyone considering a major project.
